DEC receives an award at the Awards Ceremony for the DGAE 2014

DEC Secretariat General has been awarded at the second awards ceremony of the Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition (DGAE) 2014 held yesterday at Sofitel, Down Town, Dubai and organized by the Dubai Program for Excellence under the umbrella of the Dubai Executive Council. The ceremony was attended by all representatives of the government entities in the exhibition. 

H.E. Abdulla Abdul Rahman Al Shaibani, Secretary General of the Executive Council presented the awards to the general managers of the government entities which participated in the exhibition. Group photos were taken to commemorate the occasion. Volunteers were also awarded in the ceremony followed by the Dubai Program for Excellence team. Mr. Butti Al Marri Logistics Manager, DEC received the award on behalf of H.E Hani Al Hamli, DEC Secretary General.

In his opening speech Dr Ahmed Al Nuseirat, Coordinator-General– DGEP expressed his thanks and gratitude for all participants at the Exhibition for Dubai Government Achievements 2014. He pointed out that the exhibition in its second edition has witnessed great success especially in its high number of visitors who included many Ministers and official representatives of countries around the globe. The prestigious event has revealed the size and quality of many of the services provided by all government departments.   

In this occasion H.E Hani Rashid Al Hamli stated that the DEC’s participation in the Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition in the recent edition represents the governments keenness on enlighten its society with about the most important achievements of the Council in recent years as part of his duties of participation in the formulation of economic policies enhanced economic development process in Dubai. 

The Secretary General said that the most important characteristic of the platform of the DEC in the exhibition is to stimulate the smart government initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to employ to end technologies in the field of corporate communications and other operational circuits Dubai and the emirate, as they contain the podium on a number of reports issued by the EPRC, which has recently been smart presentation.

The Secretary-General also commended the great efforts made by the team in charge of the organization of the Dubai government's achievements and the award ceremony, which contributed limitlessly to the events' remarkable success.
